It’s been an exciting and rewarding time for JDM Public Strategies.   Since formally launching in January, we have seen client growth that exceeded projections and public recognition as one the most successful policy start-ups in the nation’s capital.  This is a gratifying recognition of the confidence placed in the company by our clients and the regard of the community of policy professionals in Washington, DC.  The list below represents recent press coverage and other new developments.

JDM Public Strategies was chosen as an “Up and Comer” by Roll Call  as a lobby business that has seen surprising revenue growth in 2011 despite the recession.  For the full article, with quotes from Founder and President John McMickle, follow the link above.

The trade publication “Main Justice” also highlighted our work on reforming the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act  in an article entitled “U.S. Chamber Assembles All Star Lobbying Team for FCPA Reform.”

The Dow Jones Daily Bankruptcy Report quoted John McMickle in an article entitled “US Senators Weigh Ban On Bankruptcy ‘Forum Shopping’” which discussed legislative efforts to change bankruptcy filing rules for corporations.

Finally, an article by JDM President and Founder John McMickle on auto sales and finance was quoted and attached in its entirety to a brief submitted to the United States Supreme Court in a case (AmeriCredit v. Penrod) addressing the status of automobile loans in bankruptcy cases.  Reply Brief filed 8-10-11

We are excited to see our business grow and to continue earning the confidence of some of America’s leading businesses.   Please contact us if you have any questions about JDM Public Strategies.
